Make a difference in the Murraylands and Riverland – join the RDAMR Board.
Regional Development Australia Murraylands and Riverland (RDAMR) is calling for leaders to drive regional economic development in the Murraylands and Riverland.
RDAMR are seeking highly motivated leaders with vision, drive and passion for regional development to volunteer for RDAMR Board positions.
RDA Boards have an active and facilitative role in their communities, with a clear focus on growing strong and confident regional economies that harness their competitive advantages, seize economic opportunities, and attract investment.
With an exciting new 2020-2023 Strategic Plan, and new vision for the region to be internationally recognised as a vibrant, world-leading circular economy by 2030, newly appointed Chair Jodie Hawkes is keen to be leading this agenda and to be recruiting ‘the pick of our regional bunch’ to the Board to help achieve these ambitions.
“RDAMR is founded on strong relationships across community, industry and government, and is in a great position thanks to the sound and stable leadership of our outgoing Chair, Mayor Neil Martinson, the longest serving RDA Chair across Australia,” Mrs Hawkes says.
“Over the past three years, I have worked with wonderful colleagues as a RDAMR Board Member and would recommend the role to people who are passionate about driving workforce development, business performance, access to infrastructure and community resilience across the Murraylands and Riverland.”
Recruitment of RDAMR Deputy Chair and Board Members is open for application from 25 January to 19 February 2021 and women, people from Indigenous and diverse cultural backgrounds, and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
An application pack, including position descriptions, can be found on the RDAMR Website www.rdamr.com.au/vacancies
