Phil Reedman has spent over 39 years working in the wine industry. From his start at a Nottingham restaurant in 1982 through to today Phil continues to be captivated by wine’s endless complexity.

This has been a truly varied career that has given Phil a unique and deep understanding of the world that is wine.
Phil has been involved in almost every aspect of the wine industry: picking grapes, making wine, retailing wine, importing wine, sourcing and blending wine for one of the world’s leading retailers, developing new wines and brands. Blending medal and trophy winning wines around the southern hemisphere; Phil has also worked in and visited many of the great wines regions of Europe and the USA.
This accumulation of experience helped Phil achieve his long-held ambition to pass the Master of Wine examinations. In 1996 Phil became the 218th person to achieve what is widely recognised as the wine industry’s peak professional accreditation. To date only 496 people have achieved this distinguished accolade.
