\\ Regional Win – Mobile Phone Coverage to Increase // 29 new base stations around SA will be funded through the Mobile Blackspot Program, after the joint announcement from the State and Federal Government on Friday. 7 of the stations will be in our region, including:– Wunkar (Telstra)– Nildottie (Optus)– Mypolonga (Optus)– Murtho South (Telstra)– Murtho (Telstra)– Marama (Optus)– Etterick (Optus)This investment will see some of our major freight and tourism routes now covered with mobile communications coverage. \\ $25k rebate for water infrastructure on your farm! // If you’re a primary producer looking at ways to improve your water supply, you may be eligible for a 25% rebate of up to $25,000 from the State Government.The On-farm Emergency Water Infrastructure Rebate Scheme has been developed to help farmers purchase water infrastructure that assists productivity, mitigates degradation of natural watering points, addresses animal welfare and builds resilience for drought. The type of infrastructure eligible for a rebate includes pipes, water storage devices such as tanks and troughs, de-silting of dams, drilling of bores and associated generators and desalination plants. To apply, read the full criteria and submit an application to PIRSA.
