On Wednesday 23 October 2019, the Australia China Business Council (SA) and Immigration SA will again be showcasing the best South Australia has to offer to prequalified business migrants in a regional trade fair to be hosted in Murray Bridge’s impressive new venue – the Bridges Event Centre at Gifford Hill Racing Club.
This event will bring together export-ready South Australian businesses and prequalified business migrants who are required to meet predetermined levels of trade and/or investment to meet their visa requirements. In general each participating business migrant is required to export a minimum of $600,000 of South Australian product in order to meet their current visa obligations.
Sean Keenihan, ACBC National Vice President predicted at the December 2017 State of the State event that South Australia was set to see $4 billion increase in economic revenue over the next 3 years from the SA-China relationship, and that a large portion of that figure would come from the growing number of business migrants looking to South Australia for opportunity.
ACBC is working to ensure that South Australian businesses are prepared and best positioned to grab their share of that $4 billion.
In October, Immigration SA, the ACBC and the RDA will work together to draw focus to export ready businesses in the Murraylands and Riverland region.
