By Destination Riverland in partnership with Regional Development Australia Murraylands and Riverland.
What is Agritourism? Agritourism is inviting visitors into rural communities to experience landscapes, culture, produce and environment. This includes farm stays, rural escapes, farmers markets, wineries and food trails
Who should attend? Farmers and growers of all kinds, food and beverage producers or anyone with an existing Agritourism product who would like an opportunity to review, extend or grow their product.
What does it involve? The morning will commence with some general introductions to tourism in the Riverland and Agritourism as a concept. Attendees will then be inspired by industry case studies from South Australian businesses currently working in the agritourism space. Our expert in residence will then discuss how to create a tourism product from an Agriculture experience and finally there will be the opportunity to quiz all the speakers during an open panel discussion. Stay around to network and share ideas over lunch.
