Child Care Supply Study
Access to affordable, high-quality early learning and childcare is vital for families and for the strength of our regional communities and economy.
The Office for Early Childhood Development is partnering with Regional Development Australia organisations to deliver projects to benefit communities within their region experiencing childcare shortages.

About the Project…
RDAMR is leading this work in the Murraylands and Riverland, undertaking a regional survey to better understand local needs and identify service gaps. Insights gathered will help guide future planning and improvement of early learning and childcare across the region.
By strengthening childcare access, we help more parents participate in the workforce, support local businesses to attract and retain employees, and create thriving, family-friendly communities.
The survey seeks input on availability, affordability, accessibility, workforce capacity and the need for specialised support. Parents of young children are encouraged to share their experiences, as their feedback is essential to shaping practical, community-led solutions.
