\\ Collaboration is key in our regions // Our River Murray Study Hub Program Manager, Vanessa Leigh (centre) has been in Western Australia this week at the Geralton University Center as part of the 2019 Regional Study Hub #Networking Event.

Facilitated by the National Centre for Student Higher Education Vanessa represented the Murray River Regional Study Hub with 15 other #regional Study Hubs from across Australia.

The conference was an opportunity to meet and connect with other Study Hubs, to share their journeys and learnings to ensure long-term success of this regional initiative.

#Collaboration is key in regional communities and we are thrilled to be given the opportunity to attend the conference which was an opportunity to meet and #connect with other Study Hubs, to #share their journeys and learnings to ensure long-term success of this regional initiative.

\\ Official Launch - Referrals are open! // Today our Employment and Training Manager, Shaun Harris, officially launched the L2P Program in Murray Bridge in partnership with Energy Education Australia. The program will assist local people to achieve their required 75 hours for their learners permit who do not have the means to otherwise achieve this.

Through this program model everyone will have the opportunity to gain access to everything our region has to offer, prevailing transport barriers associated with regional living.

The program is now accepting referrals, with mentors in place to start driver training. Once the program is fully operational we plan to expand to other areas of the Murraylands and beyond! More information via www.l2p.org.au

Thank you and congratulations to our partners and sponsors, this program would not be possible without the collaboration of our community - Rural City of Murray Bridge Dutton Motors Murray Bridge Duttons Mitsubishi & Hyundai Department of Human Services, The Regional Employment Trials #RET, Energy Education Australia.
