Weathering the Storm is a series of workshops that have been designed to assist women to prepare themselves, their families and communities for natural disasters.The workshops aim to build resilience, networking and a sense of community among women so that they can support their families and community in the event of a natural weather event.This is a prime opportunity to gain the skills, knowledge and networks in preparation for these unplanned weather events.Date and Time:Monday 17 September 2018

\\ Calling all manufacturing and food processing businesses //RMIT University have developed a survey to better understand innovation within the food manufacturing/prosessing sector aiming to develop an understanding of how innovation works in practice and reflect on the current models to provide better academic, techincal, financial and support to the sector in the hope this information could be developed into an app.RMIT are mindful your time is valuable so in recognition of your time and effort they will make a small donation to a reputable charity for every completed and usable survey. RDAMR in conjunction with Tony Pasin MP, hosted Minister Michaelia Cash, Federal Minister of Jobs and Innovation who visited the region this week to talk about the roll out of the Regional Employment Trial Program and proposed reforms to the employment services offered in our regions.Whilst in region, Minister Cash met with local businesses, Swanport Harvest and IGA Fresh Westside Murray Bridge to discuss workforce needs, and chat to employees recently connected through the Jobs 4 Murraylands Program.
